I have purchased window treatments from Home Depot, what happens next?
The majority of products produced by our manufacturers typically take 2-4 weeks for us to receive them from the day you place your order with us. Once we receive the product you will receive a call from one of our certified installers assigned to your order to book your installation. As all our window treatments are custom made, we rely on our manufactures to ensure the production times are met, however if a delay occurs (usually due to back ordered material), we will immediately notify you of the delay as well as continue to monitor the progression of your order. Products that may take longer to manufacture are specialty shapes (such as arches, angled or sloped blinds).

How do I track my order?
Visit www.hddecorating.com/trackmyorder. We have a customer service department dedicated to not only monitor the progression of your order, but also respond to your inquiries within 1-2 business days.

How do I make changes to my order?
Each order placed with Home Depot Decorating is custom and made to fit your exact window specifications and style. Here are some important points to keep in mind:
• Any change must be requested prior to your check measure being complete as production of your custom made order will commence the next day.
• Any changes or cancellation will not be accepted once manufacturing of your custom made product has commenced.
• As we only deal with the largest manufactures in the world, 99% of our orders are filled by the manufacturer within the timelines that we state. However on the rare occasion a delay may occur due to out-of-stock, back ordered materials or components as well as statutory holidays or other factors beyond our control. If a delay does occur you will be notified immediately with a revised update of your order.

What do I need to do before my installation appointment?
Removal of existing window coverings including hardware should be removed prior to the installer arriving unless otherwise agreed upon at point of sale. Your time is valuable! Our certified installers are trained to provide you with professional installation of your custom window treatments. Installation times can vary due to the scope of your project and can take as little as 30 minutes to several hours. To assist us and protect your home please ensure that all items within the installation proximity are safely moved and stored. Disposal of packaging/ existing window coverings come with a surcharge as Home Depot Decorating follows proper disposal and recycling regulations. Please reference page 2 of your contract.

How do I care for my window treatments?
All product comes with a warranty and care document that is specific to each unique blind. This document will accompany your new window treatments and will be left upon completion of your installation.

What is the Manufacturer’s Limited Lifetime Warranty?
Our manufactures carry unique warranty descriptions based on each product. Most manufacturers do provide a “limited life time warranty” on the material and workmanship. Components and mechanisms including operating cords and tilts are warrantied for up to 5 years. To submit a warranty claim please visit www.hddecorating.com/warranty. In order to process a warranty claim a copy of your purchase agreement as well a picture of the issue must be sent in along with your claim. You are also be able to reference each manufacturer and their warranty policies by simply clicking on the warranty tab then “vendor warranty policy”. Warranty does cover all product however labor to remove or reinstall is not included and a service call fee will apply.
